A little about me
I'm Dave Sanders, an alternative, non-traditional wedding celebrant based in Carlisle, Cumbria. I may be way up North but I can travel anywhere.

I'm here to make your wedding day everything you want it to be!
Will it be boring? Nope
Will it feel like a wedding? In places yes! We've got to keep granny happy hahaha
Will we laugh? Very much so!
Will we cry? Hopefully! 😂
Will it be relaxed and fun? Hell yeah, it will be.
This is where you get to let your creativity run wild, there are literally no rules! This is your day, and it's going to be a day to remember! (Great band too 🤘)

My love of all things weddings came when I got married myself in 2022, my wife and I climbed a mountain at 3am, and we exchanged our personal vows at sunrise. I use sunrise loosely, the cloud never lifted but it made the photos very moody and awesome!
But here's the kicker, I didn't know what a celebrant was at the time. So we ended up doing our legals in our local registry office. This made sense with older relatives but I'm still glad we got to do our actual vow exchange and photos together with the amazing back drop of Grey Mares tail in Moffat.

From there I started dream Come True wedding prop hire and then in early 2024 I became a celebrant. It is such an incredible feeling to be part of someone's big day!

Away from the wedding scene I have spent 20 years in the motor trade and as a touring drummer with a number of bands. I have spent years playing hundreds of gigs, tours and festivals supporting the likes of Steel Panther, Sebastian Bach(Skid Row) and more. I now play in a wedding and function band around Cumbria and the north east, whilst still keeping my hand in with my originals bands Falling Red and the City Kids.

Anything else: I love wrestling WWE/AEW, I collect action figures and collectables, I love ASMR, Traveling with my amazing wife and we have a very cute Chihuahua called Bambi, She will be present for coffee meet ups and she will sell me for sure. 😂
